Everyone Loves a Parade

On Saturday, I experienced my first Old Timer’s Day Parade (as well as post-parade activities and food selections). Here are some images from the day.
I found it odd that the float promoting a “dog park” was without any canine representation.
Some “old school” assault weaponry.
And should the ban on assault weapons remain – no worries – we can just throw axes.
I’m very upset about Tennessee’s budget shortfall after seeing that the Highway Patrol felt it okay to make a VW Bug Car!! Really?!! I would run from that Trooper and easily get away.
Nice!
Good thing they have that really strong orange plastic fence to protect passersby from wayward tosses of the ax!
